What We Are NOT

Final Wishes Plan is not any of the following, and does not provide services in any of these categories:

✕A funeral home, funeral director, or funeral service provider. We do not arrange, contract for, or provide any funeral goods or funeral services.
✕A preneed contract seller or insurance company. We do not sell, arrange, or promote preneed funeral contracts or insurance products of any kind.
✕A cemetery, crematory, or burial service provider. We do not own, operate, or arrange cemetery or crematory services.
✕A licensed funeral director. We do not hold or require a funeral director license and do not provide funeral direction services.
✕An attorney or law firm. We do not provide legal advice, and nothing we provide creates an attorney-client relationship.
✕A financial or investment advisor. We do not provide financial, investment, or insurance advice.
✕A medical provider or healthcare consultant. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

No Commissions or Conflicts of Interest

Final Wishes Plan operates as an independent advisory service with no financial incentives or commissions from any funeral home, cemetery, crematory, insurance company, financial institution, or service provider.

We do not benefit financially from your choice of any particular service provider, arrangement, or product. Our only compensation comes directly from the families we serve.

Services Are Advisory and Informational Only

Our services consist solely of:

Listening to your family's needs and situation
Helping you articulate and document your wishes and preferences
Organizing information in clear, accessible formats
Providing guidance on how to communicate these wishes to family members and service providers
Advocating for your family's stated preferences and values

Nothing we provide constitutes legal, financial, medical, or funeral planning advice.

You Retain Full Autonomy

You and your family retain complete freedom to:

Choose any licensed service provider you wish (funeral home, cemetery, crematory, etc.)
Purchase any products or insurance you wish
Modify or disregard any guidance Final Wishes Plan provides
Work with any attorney, financial advisor, or other professional

Limitation of Liability

Final Wishes Plan is not liable for:

Decisions made by you or your family regarding service providers
Actions, inactions, or conduct of any third-party service provider
Pricing, policies, or conduct of funeral homes, cemeteries, crematorios, or insurance companies
Any losses, damages, or costs resulting from your family's decisions

Privacy and Data Protection

Funeral director license
Preneed seller license
Cemetery or crematory license
Insurance license
